Mrs.
Insaf Sirhan, founder and head-teacher of
the school, has been a teacher for over thirty years, and she continues to
guide the curriculum and achievements of the school as a whole, in addition
to teaching the GCSE and AS-level groups.
Held on
Saturdays from 10.00am till 12.45pm, at Wimbledon's Kings
College School
in London,
the aim of The Al-Ahliah School of Arabic is
to strengthen and maintain the link between British Arabs (and non-Arab
Muslims) and the Arabic language.
We
also provide a free three-quarters of an
hour lesson of Qu’ran each
week, which takes place from 12.45pm to 1.30pm. Non-Muslims typically
collect their children at 12.45pm when the Arabic class has been completed.

Classes are divided
according to age groups, and we accommodate the various proficiency levels
(in particular when a new student joins) through the use of groups within
each class. As such, your child will not feel out of place in our school,
regardless of his or her previous background in Arabic.
Please note that
we can only accept children from the age of three and a half.

Saturdays
from 10.00am till 12.45pm
( There is an optional free three-quarters of an hour lesson of Qu’ran each week, which takes place
from 12.45pm to 1.30pm)
The school is run
on a term structure, according to the timetable of King's College School,
the host school.
